Pykie
Here is footage from a red letter day on the corvids back in July. The farmer has open cattle sheds which are plagued by corvids eating and fouling the feed. They also make one heck of a racket!! Crow call is a Neyt call, camera a Contour headcam and I am using FOB Viper cartridges in my trusty Beretta Urika II. Hope you enjoy!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41_bgveF-JU

Cranfield
Good video and some smart shooting. I shoot at three dairies and its amazing what a nuisance the corvids are, but I can't get away with a 5am start even though I use the 20ga Hushpower, as there are too many houses nearby. How long was your shooting session ? I find that after a couple of hours they get wise and move off somewhere else.

There are a few neighbours but all wanted them dealt with as their shouting and calling wakes them up every morning. We shot another 100 a week later from 2pm til about 6pm in the same area. Often though we can make a whole day out of corvid shooting and this year alone we have shot in excess of 1600 corvids so far

Cyrus1988
Great video, what size load and shot size are the carts you're using? I'm struggling with rangy corvids using 32g #6, moving down to #5 hoping they knock them down.
Pykie
Only 28 gm 7.5, which is English 7 shot. That's all I use for corvids and pigeons

Pykie
Trouble with crows are they sometimes look closer than they are. If I can, I get them as close as possible with my call and decoys before shooting them and a dense pattern of 7s at close range is hard to escape from if you are on them
