apache
"for the protection of my hearing (health & safety)" If they grant you the gun I have NEVER heard of even the most unreasonable police force refusing the grant of an accompanying moderator. Put down one per gun.

Dekers
Times have changed considerably reference moderators, 40 years ago the immediate answer was no, and you would need to put a good case, even 10-15 years ago there was still reluctance amongst many forces. Most have seen the light, ask and ye shall get these days, unless they come up with something very strange!

moorvale55
DON'T ask for a .22 lr, ask for a .22 rf, (this covers any .22 type of rimfire). Ask for a moderator for each calibre, when the rifles are zeroed you need to keep each mod for the respective rifle or the zero could change.
