beesley121
Hi guys, made some damson gin approx 3 years ago, forgot all about it and found it in the cupboard. Looks ok, will it be ok to drink?
robbiep
Should be fine. As far as I'm aware, the only thing to be really cautious with is cherries - they contain cyanogenic acid, and over a period of time, it can leach out into the drink. I always de-stone cherries before using them in brandy.

Dunkield
If is perfectly sealed it should be OK. If not the gin will have evaporated slightly and it may be a bit syrupy. Definitely worth a drink though.

kenj
I've got some sloe gin on the go at the moment. Some for Xmas, some for next. Brother in law found some 5 year old in a cupboard. It was fine. We lived to tell the tale.
