Mentalmac
By filling her car up with bunnies after having a good session with a friend on his new permission where he was asked to clear a problem field but only had a short time window because of the animals on it being moved off and then back on again. My vitara overheated and I'm about to do water pump/thermostat job on it so thought it best to take the family carrier. Luxury shooting that is, roomy enough to really move around. Well, all I'll say is that it was lucky I already had a headache anyway.
Shooterluke
You should leave them in an ask her to get the pram lol
birdsallpl
Bright eyed and bushy tailed. No mixie which is nice to see. I bet that wasn't your wife's observation when she opened the boot!'
Mentalmac
You should leave them in an ask her to get the pram lol haha she was more angered that there was a mix of brains and blood stuck in the carpet... Bright eyed and bushy tailed. No mixie which is nice to see. I bet that wasn't your wife's observation when she opened the boot!' Haha, her first impression was also a lasting face that I have had sat infront of me most of last night... alas, we ate well. I was also pleasantly surprised, a very healthy and meaty lot of rabbits. Shame this place can't be shot long term, landowner would only allow a short window, but I am sure that they will ask my friend and I back when they get bad again. Mentalmac
I would be more concerned about all the fleas? Ah, that wasn't an issue luckily - I treated the car to a nice splash of Actibiol and a clean the next day :-). I have a cat and regularily get rabbits, so always on the look out for the little blighters -

loriusgarrulus
Get a few of those big blue shopping bags for 40p from Ikea to stash the rabbits in. Looks like they are made out of tarp material. Easy to wash and fold flat when not in use. Keeps the car clean and lot easier to take them out to sort. Mentalmac
My mrs used to this now! Ha ha. Quite often open the boot at the super market to find something dead in the truck! haha, same in my Vitara - never put your hands in the boot in the dark without a light... never know what you'll find. i took our new (well new to us) honda crv out shooting to a golf course they had just cut the grass and passenger (mungolee) put a grassy footprint in foot well missus told me to go out and get myself something for shooting in hay ho if i must colin Haha nice one, that's a good way of getting more budget clearance from the other halves eh? just ruin their things a bit until they tell you to get your own :-). Must admit, having comfort and warmth was good, ambient backlight very nice... but if anything I was always scared where to put my feet as they were covered in mud. Newspapers! Does the vitaras fan work? Are they electric? Good point there U, the fan does work but I am thinking I just was low on coolant as the fan needs liquid to run I believe and wasn't running when it overheated but runs fine now but the poor old girl can do with a little TLC and some new shiny bits. Only go there if I can get meatballs, otherwise it's a no from me.

Mentalmac
Baby pram/dead rabbits/common sense When I washed and valeted the car I also washed the stroller cosy toes and steamed the other bit it at same time as steaming my boot :-). (incidentally the cosy toes bit goes in the wash near enough every week as my toddler seems to find ways to make it disgusting). I should have taken it out before going out but completely forgot and didn't expect that many bunnies and usually knowing my girls there's always an abundance of plastic bags left in their footwells but for the first time there wasn't. But yes Cosd, as Volitaire once quoted: "common sense is not so common". Certainly in my case that day
loriusgarrulus
Could have been worse. You might have wheeled them into the house in the pram. Then the rabbits wouldn't have been the only dead meat.
