Great day Alan, great targets and was lucky enought to win a turkey.

Only problem I found it took just over 4 hours to do a 100 clays

I found we were being held up by some parties of beginners who didn't seem to realise that others were waiting to shoot.

Thanks Alan

A very enjoyable shoot you put on , I did have one or two gripes which was down to the shooters present rather than the shoot itself.

Firstly as Motty has mentioned we were badly held up on some stands by obvious new shooters being coached by their mates , fair enough everyone has to learn but there is a time and a place , there were also a limited number of prize winning flash clays so it was quite annoying to see those being coached being told " have that one again" or "have another one " while there is a queue of people waiting .

Perhaps a have a go stand would be a idea for future shoots Alan ?

Also considering that there were flash clays with prizes attached why on earth do people insist on seeing a pair on every stand a waste of clays and potentially a waste of prizes

Alan has a great deal of work to do putting these shoots on , but that is not enough for some people they also think he is there to pick up the empties , its not hard to put your hand over the ejector and put them in the bin that was on each stand is it !

Last gripe gun safety in a word shocking on a couple of occasions one numpty turned from the cage with a unbroken gun swung through everyone standing behind then preceded to walk back along the line with his unbroken gun to put it in its case , Motty did say something to the guy but he seemed too gormless for it to sink in .

Another had a misfire / light strike and within a second had the cartridge out and deposited in the bin on the stand , I hate to think what could have happened if it was a hang fire .

A work colleague told me about it so I thought I'd give it ago

I enjoyed it loads and will be back !!

I arrived late and I could tell by the size of the carpark there was going to be a bit of waiting around but who doesn't like standing in a cold muddy Norfolk field mid winter

I scored 78 after 8 years off so well pleased.
