I think this story has had loads of spin put on it, when i was in Argentina, particularly the Patagonia region, which was about a month after the end of the Falklands war, people were coming up to us shaking hands and saying thanks to us for getting rid of the Junta.I can't see how things would have deteriorated when they were that keen just after the event. I never witnessed any animosity to us Brits then. It was a very small% that wanted blood as far as I understood from what we were told.I went from Buernes Aires right down to the southern tip everyone I met was anything but hostile. So I would think lots of publicity for the programme with no actual substance. I will be watching on IPlayer with much interest . It is one stunning country. from Auntie.
