Eee, in't it clever how the forum recognises the word plonker and replaces it with plonker!

I wonder if it is as clever with other such words like:

**** (yup)

$$$$ (nope)

$$$$ (nope)

****er (yup)

Two outta four isn't so bad (edited the other two out meself!)

threequarter length jackets will be available later in the year, at similar daft prices  :/

The best colour coat I ever had for shooting at night, was a prison raincoat (before the blue ones). It was what you would describe as STONE colour, but had no pockets for obvious reasons. It came down over waders and was tough as old boots.

At night, nearly everything shows up darker. Remember Kenzie Thorpe's 'black objects'?

The white Drizabone coats that were seen at the Sydney Olympics might do the job once they got dirty, but I don't like the press stud fastenings.

Waxproofs don't approach the right shade until they do not have much proofing left.

One thing PLEASE! NO ******* VELCRO!

They have advertized in the shooting mags quite a bit over the years but now WEARITE are on the web at http://www.dog-n-field.co.uk/gene/Wearite/gear.htm

Thats the jacket I've got - a Deben "Storm" Parka.

Very comfy - four external and two internal pockets - decent hood, storm flap and 3/4 length.

The "Cyclone" has an extra pocket or so and the zip in liner.

I think Walls actually make them for Deben.

Expensive at around £130 though
