I've noticed a little jelous rage coming out of a person on here each time someone shoots a decent bag or makes a valid point of view on a subject well MOTTY,he's called i think you should take up darts then or golf as you are a silly childish boy .no need to have a temper tantrum each time you come back empty handed from the field obviously a bad shot or useless field craft. Or maybe just a big hater tut tut tut,.

Now go sit on the naughty step .😂

Whatever you may feel and I have felt incredible irritation about certain people, heat and Kitchen come to mind.

It takes all sorts and some rather weird and unpleasant, some intentionally arrogant without purpose. If I feel that way again, I shall simply leave and not return.

There are however some really sensible, humorous, intelligent and experienced people on here (not all at once, naturally !) The good that is done by many does rather outweigh those who occasionally get up our nose, for whatever reason, real or imagined.

The thing with public forums is you get opinions, not all of them nice.As long as they are opinions about the subject they remain valid however and it is up to the reader to interpret/take onboard/ignore etc..The vast majority of topics and discussion have merit I believe,as do most opinions, this post for example is somewhat of a personal attack and to me not sure how constructive it will be. I do not know Motty,he is forthright in his views and probably the worlds loudest advocate of Clay shells for pigeons, but I do think the opinion is from someone who does shoot quite alot of pigeons quite regularly......

As I am a leading target for many of Motty's darts, I can say this is a bit strong Michael, Motty is as entitled to disagree with what I observe as the next man. The point he misses is that different parts of the country are very different, pigeon-wise.

So would that be my clich by any chance ? .

If you do not like my opinions I do not really care , I am a straight as a arrow type person and what you see is what you get , if someone is talking ******* I will tell them they are talking ******* .

I actually go shooting quite a lot , most of what I say or agree with is from what I have done and seen over the last 33 years of shooting .

There seems to be a every increasing number of armchair shooters on here who offer poor advice or simply talk ****.

I have helped more people out one way or another on this forum than I can count and will continue to do so , but I don't suffer fools gladly .

Now to the original poster , I know Motty very well and risking being accused of sticking up for my clich I can say he is much the same as me , he will call a spade a spade and so he should , he often gets shot down for suggesting clay loads for pigeon yet shoots 1000s every year using them so why should he agree with someone saying they are not suitable that hardly leaves his armchair ?

He has helped numerous people off this them out taking then pigeon shooting and wildfowling and giving them good advice also.

If you think he has a need to be jealous of someone shooting 137 pigeons then you are very much mistaken and the comment was obviously tongue in cheek and you need to get a sense of humour.

Im sorry but i have to admit . I too find motty to be the jealous / envious type . However i think its more to do with my looks than my shooting abilities. Its not our fault that us lincolnshire boys are much better looking than the norfolk rabble. ...

Again, as one of Motty's target, I don't think jealousy has anything to do with it.

On the clay loads (I think I missed that debate), I've shot pigeons with No 9 shot when I had nothing else. I would say, though, that something heavier would often be more appropriate, unless Motty can get them to decoy that well. If so, shoot them down. I'm struggling to get them inside 50 yards and prefer No 5 shot.

Cheers

I'm jealeous!! of all those numerous, easy-to-decoy birds you have out your way!!!!

That's why JDog is moving over, I'm sure.

Well my move to Lincolnshire has nothing whatsoever to do with adding to the beauty of the male of the species that's for sure. If they are ugly in Norfolk I may have to move there to fit in.

It wont help jdog a bit moving to lincolnshire . The birds will never see his boyish good looks when hes wearing that bloody hat haha .

I keep telling him to be anygood in lincolnshire you need a pinewood magnet , V05 hair product ( lots of )

And a splash of amarni code aftershave .

Get the birds . Get the lincoln look !!

I do have a Pinewood magnet but it's for attracting pigeons not 'birds'. I also use 'product' in my hair which is still unruly even at my age. As for Armani aftershave, I use something more expensive and which lures the other type of bird in like you wouldn't believe.

Having said that I am still ugly.
