valley boy
go to home bargins and get some washing line props i think there about 2 quid each to fix them in the ground you can either put a spike on the bottom or get some steel rod about 15 inch long knock into the ground and put the polls over the top of them and of cause you need a net and some decoys

dougall
with a bit of luck he shall have a few bits of netting/deeks he could spare you.......all you need now is a few pigeons...real birds make best decoys so as/when you have a few down go stick them in the pattern use wooden kebab sticks from supermarket to hold heads up or if crop growing a bit get few cradles which hold pigeon up....have fun. Uncle Albert
You've all forgotten a small number of things. A large length of plastic tubing, a large funnel, clamps etc. As we all know, "**** Law" clearly states that when you get up to answer a call of nature is exactly the time hen the birds will come over. Similarly for when you start to roll or get a fag out or pour a cup of your favourite beverage or get your sarnies out. Hence the funnel needs to be strategically placed with the tubing running outside your hide, one's fags could be put in some form of holder with a tube running close to your mouth and a tube run to your flask. DON'T, for heavens sake get the tubes mixed up though. Now the only thing you will need is some mechanism to open the sarnies and lift them to one's laughing gear and you will be set like a jelly for the day. We've all done it. How about some, easily portable, means of lifting one up into the shooting position to bag the birds? With these simple devices in place you would be set for the day. Maybe just have to take the butler with you to handle all these annoying distractions though. Edited March 20, 2015 by Uncle Albert
lloydi73
Go on A1 Decoys, their website is one of the scrolling ones on top, they do a great starter kit...I got 5 poles, 5m net, canvass carry bag and 6 decoys I think it was for about £50. But they are really good and will help you buy to your budget. My order came within 24 hours of placing it and well packaged up aswell!! Muddy Funker
Ebay, Yesterday I won a burlap camo net 5m x 2m for about £1.20, there are definitely bargains to be had. Has anyone had a set of hide poles made from rebar like in one of the videos from fieldsports channel?
