bruno22rf
Gamebore no longer make BP shells and their entire stock was purchased by "Just cartridges" who demand £29/box!! So I'm looking for a more financially acceptable means of getting my hands on some. Have thought about making my own but after speaking to Kranks today and being informed that BP ruins reloading presses because of its coarse nature I find myself at the feet of the PW masses and their wealth of knowledge-anybody out there into BP shells or the reloading of? sitsinhedges
Can't you use scoops and scales?
Underdog
Just use a scoop.
Guest cookoff013
Go get a scoop. PS. You might need a separate licence for the bp.
Underdog
What ever hold your desired amount of shot use the same for the powder. An adjustable shot dipper will do. Or a cut down cartridge case! U.
bruno22rf
Thanks for the replies so far-already have a BP licence cookoff013 so no probs there-is it worth buying a load-all and simply pre measuring the powder to manually charge the shells I wonder? Seems the easiest way to go?
Underdog
Or just use the measures and obtain a roll crimper!

Vince Green
You are not supposed to put BP through any automatic powder measuring device on any loading press. Its too volatile. A scoop is fine and very quick. Other than that its simple, a nice rolled turnover sets everything off perfectly.
oliver90owner
As others, use a scoop. If you wish to check the charge, 100g scales (weighing to 0.01g) are available from epay for less than a fiver delivered!
