Well now what I am going to do this year - it would appear that "Fenboy" and " Motty" have already donated wildfowling trips out on the Wash.

So I think I will be donating something closer to home this year.

How does a stalking trip with the possibility (if you are lucky) of a Roe Buck sound?. And if you shoot it you can keep and eat it.

In Sunny West Oxfordshire on an agreed date this coming season.

Obviously the winner will have to have the correct licence, insurance and rifle for the task. So takers maybe a little limited.

There you go thats another raffle prize.

Come on the South

OXF

Yep this is now my top pick

Right, I've again got a very generous donation of a slab of cartridges from John Beswick of Rainhill Cartridge Supplies (don't know what yet but they will be fibre wadded pigeon loads).

I haven't asked yet but there's almost certain to be a voucher for a round of clays at Catton Hall Shooting Ground at Frodsham in Cheshire.

Over the Xmas period I won a couple of bottles of Scottish falling down water which can go in the raffle (I've become more of a G&T drinker in my dotage)

No doubt I'll uncover yet another something that I've bought and never used which can go to a good cause a bit nearer the day. Which reminds me I'd better get booked on.

ColinF and PhilR are pleased to offer a day game shooting during the 2015/16 season, date to be confirmed, on the Plumpton Wood syndicate shoot in South Northants for one person.

The bag should be between 50 and 80 birds depending upon the date chosen, although on several occasions we've topped a 100. It will be a full driven day, although we do have a walking gun on some drives.

The day will begin with breakfast in the local pub to meet the other guns. Afterwards a short drive to the farm to meet the beaters and load up the gun bus which transports the guns to the duck and pheasant drives, we stop after a couple of drives for elevenses, then continue with the remaining drives. Finally guns and beaters adjourn to the pub for some grub and a chat about the day.

The winner must have an SGC and third party liability insurance as provided by BASC or other organisations.
