rimfire4969
I have Suzuki Eiger Quadrunner that has been fantastic, today when I was out on it it started coughing and backfiring, it ticks over fine give it some gas and it labours and does not pick up then back fires, if you continue on the gas it dies. I can strip it down tomorrow when the weather drys up a bit, in what order should I check thing?
walshie
I'm far from a mechanic, but it sounds like a fuel problem - too much of it by the sound of it. Maybe the air filter is blocked causing it to run rich? First thing I'd check anyway.
throttlemonkey
I'd go for air filter first
Browning 425 clay hunter
I'd say change the discom-bobdulator first. You never know ! ATB

scutt
as above plus choke could be stuck always check simple things first before stripping carb jets

fenboy
I am guessing its air related , filter or a split pipe.
