scolopax
The economy and the repeal of the hunting act. Guess that makes me a Conservative! Oh the NHS, of course, but I would like to see the same cuts and cost savings applied here as to the other non protected departments. Otherwise I can see the NHS breaking this nation. CharlieT
In some environments "my" shooting will almost certainly be protected, even from complete political antis, Not if the Greens get in, believe me................. No one has the right to kill Gods creatures and all that !!
islandgun
Just googled the value of shooting Quote Britain spends £2.5 billion on goods and services and shooting supports the equivalent of 74,000 full time jobs its a long list, I dont see a ban any time soon in fact I see a lot more tolerance towards shooting in my daily life, with good discussions about the ethics of wild harvest compared to factory farming. I meet people every day buying seafood and other meals from us and one of the favourites lately is Rabbit.
Davyo
What we all are forgetting is that who ever gets in will be a bunch of lying theifs, with fabricated ( vote pinching policies )they can't commit to keeping, just like the parties who say they will protect shooting. If they where told that banning shooting would guarantee they get in ,they would turn their backs on the shooting communities without batting an eyelid. islandgun
thats what i was thinking we all know that politicians dont keep their word so we could assume that those opposed to shooting wont keep their word either
Davyo
Yep in a nut shell,a politician is some one who who stab their own mother, just look at your own local councillors just in it for what they can get and the only time they are seen on the street is when there's an election.Had one at the door recently(labour)never worked a day in his life & on every benifit going spouting on about unemployment.Got told to do one. Scully
My family are fine. We've been through some difficult times financially in the past few years, but that isn't going to change no matter who gets into power. Shooting is my way of life and always has been. So true, no matter who gets in the individual difference to you will be such that you hardly notice whether it is good or bad. I think some people vote thinking that they will suddenly be well off because of the politics on offer without really understanding what that would mean. Shooting is important to me when voting, but really it is part of general liberties and freedoms that certain parties value more than others. overandunder2012
no shootings fun and i enjoy it but would not be voting for a party based on what they think about shooting, theres more important issues when it comes to choosing a government.
