Longbower
Funny isn't it, when you consider how we strive to get permissions , and then one day, "its just not there any more",? The thought of carting all that stuff out into a field, setting it all up , getting bug bites or rained on, or the birds that were there just go away. Or maybe its been a good day, and ,you have a bag full of blood spattered , smelly flyblown pigeons to deal with. Or , your knuckles deep in rabbits chest clearing the entrails out. Alternatives: Ikea, The local enterprise park , DFS , Next, Marks and Spencers. Or you could take up cycling, (Organ Donor). Sailing , Golf , Motorcycling (see cycling) Rambling. I found Field Archery (simulated hunting, shooting at Bison , Elk ,Alligator, Turkeys, Baboon, Velociraptors, Stegasuarus, and more using a Bow and Arrows). Well it floats my boat (for now). I hope you find something to move onto , if that's your wish. Good LUCK
drut
At the moment "going through the motions" but lacking the incentive/motivation so know where you are coming from.Had a patch like this a year or two ago(could be age related)but got over it and returned to full enthusiasm/enjoyment. Can't make sense of it reaiiy; also at the moment cannot be bothered to ride my motorcycles(a passion of mine since 12yrs old)so can only hope of some positive change.Maybe some sunshine and warmer weather will work miracles. Scully
I never get bored with shooting, nor bored in general really. Admittedly there will be times when I can't be bothered, but I never get bored. I can't understand why some people get hung up on carrying tons of gear around to go decoying; when I was younger all we needed were a couple of deeks and a good flight line, then just snuggled down into a hedgerow. Some of our best days on corvids has been stood with our backs to a railway banking hedge and literally two plastic crows out front.
