Nothing worse than putting a mark on a new gun. As I have done a couple of years ago. All the best with your new shotgun, happy shooting and enjoy, no better feeling than a "Brand new gun". Dannyboy220
Quick turnaround. Well Done Lancashire Police. Mines a while off still I think. I know that you are joking about sleeping with it, but it made me wonder what are the rules on that? If I went off to one of my permissions and camped for a few days could I have shotgun in the tent with me?
LancsLad45
If you think of people going to some of these big clay shoots they travel one day, stop over night, shoot then go home. Especially if driving from Scotland to Kent say. Do the hotels have gun safes? I don't think many will. I would say if you kept the barrels and forend in the car and the stock with you in tent (U/O anyway) your at least showing your trying to be safe and it can't be used immediately if someone does try to steal it as they only get hold of half.
