margun
Okay so I made the fatal error. After clearing the 4ft wall of bubbles from the kitchen, what do to make the dishwasher clear of fairy?
loriusgarrulus
Swish bar soap through it. Normal bar soap breaks down foam very fast.

Suffolkngood
This is a favourite trick.............visit a mates house and when he's not looking give an ample squeeze of washing up liquid in to filter well in bottom of dishwasher. almost as bad as watering the carpet and sprinkling with cress seed whilst they're on holiday. Mike737
Years ago my dad sold household goods for Amway. He assured me that the washing-up powder was suitable for dishwashers... It wasn't, and we spent the best part of a day scooping foam out, diluting it, adding bar-soap etc., etc.. Every time we thought we'd done it, it filled with foam again as soon as we set it going. Perseverance is the answer. Mike.
