Squinting shot
I use 24g no 8 game bore cartridges for sporting clays my scores have improved since the switch I like them and they do the job well. And I feel more confident but what do I no I am a beginner and my scores are only in the 30s I only do one round of 50 clays. Plus the 24g has virtually no kick All the best
Duckandswing
I've used them in my semi and they were ok I'm also a bit of a lump however I put 50 through my sxs trust me they punch a bit You were right. Tried the sxs on the weekend with them. Kicked like an angry mule.
HDAV
You were right. Tried the sxs on the weekend with them. Kicked like an angry mule. Did you get them from Bales? Try Keens By McArthur Glen (other side of M4 in Aberkenfig) they have a decent choice of carts much better for clay carts than Bales

Santa 2512
Another vote for Evo sporting 24g, Use them as my preffered cart. - I read a review of them in one of the monthly publications recently, and they were well recieved also As alternatives, Hull pro fibre 24g are ok as well, Santa Edited August 7, 2015 by Santa 2512
LancsLad45
I'm using Eley Rebel 24g 8's and I love them apart from the price. Need to find a cheaper cart.
Del T
Well after trying a slab of the "new" Eley firsts all seemed good. A little less recoil than the fiochhis we normally use and a very good price too. But out of that one slab we had a faulty cart. The primer was hit but didn't go off, so very poor in our opinion. Out of what must have been almost 10000 fiochhis we haven't had one single faulty cart.! So we will be going back to them again. Both carts 24gram fibre wads.
