Aled
Estuaries are pretty good, mind its 25 years since I was there. Loads of sea lochs, and the trout fishing on the lochs is good too. Great island, lovely rural location. Cheers Aled
fenboy
I believe you can actually shore fish for skate in some of the lochs .
islandgun
I believe you can actually shore fish for skate in some of the lochs . There have been 200lb + skate from from the shore here in the Isle of Harris so quite possibly in Mull, Should be plenty of pollack to the spinner or fly though, I expect ! yates
This wil be our third visit to Mull in as many years. I have flyfished lochTorr and Frisha, catching lots of wild brownies on dry fly(nothing above 5 inches though). I tried spinning in the sea and landed a couple of pollock and sea trout that were smaller than the spinner. Absolutely fantastic as you can watch the sea otters and sea eagles fishing at the same time. I was hoping that someone may know of some 'hotspot'. yates
We're staying in loch Don. I'm particularly interested in mackerel spots if possible
