Seems a bargain. Cheers Edd
955i
Not used one as I am a Nikon man, but that seems a very good price for the package.
Fuji Shooter
I am also a Nikon guy but it seems a fair price for an entry level DSLR. The lenses will get you going but you will soon want to replace them with something better unless its just for point and shoot.
stevo_m
Cheaper at Wex, with the cash back. http://www.wexphotographic.com/search/?q=canon%201200d A shop I trust as I'm local to it. If you're in the market for a DSLR look at their second hand cameras too. I picked up a Nikon 7100 £400 cheaper than a new camera and it's in mint condition with very few shutter actuations. So you could get more camera for your money. Steve
keg
Unless I am missing something £309 from Currys with 2 lenses £299 from Wex but only comes with 18-55mm Lens?
stevo_m
Oh yes, so it is, I missed the 300 lense! That's quite a good deal then! (Another Nikon user!) Steve

Ive always had Canon DSLRs and they have always been excellent. I think it's personal choice.
poontang
Seems like a pretty good deal to me, but it really boils down to what sort of photo's you're looking to take.
Dougy
It's based at entry level dslr. Good for beginners. I've gone with the nikon 3200. Nice pictures and quite simple to use with fetures that I may never need.
welsh1
Not a bad price for an entry DSLR and two lens, but you could pick up better second hand canons and a good lens for that price,it is worth looking around for second hand.
