charge light has been on on the dash since we started it up, so got a battery tester on it and the battery isnt charging, so iv just ordered a new alternator,

after work i cut the grass for the first time this year, then set about cleaning the garage a bit as it was a mess and a half, done one side of it and will do other side tomorrow.

a clean garage is a happy garage :good::good:

i would like to just like to say a big thank you to taxi driver for sending me his bonnet hinges FOC, they arrived today and will be off for painting tomorrow.

thanks Neil :good::good::good::good:

You're welcome,

They were on an old bonnet that's been sat in my garden for xx years so it's nice they'll do someone a turn.

I kept telling me-self "they'll come in useful one day"

you cut your own hair :hmm::hmm::lol::lol:

You can do wonders with a modern strimmer :good:

when i put it on i realised some of the door seals were a bit in the way so had to do a bit of chopping about with them, one was to long where it runs down the bulkhead so an inch off there which is how it should of been done but when putting them on they were all to big and if iv learnt nothing, better to be to big/long rather than short :whistling::whistling:

then where the bottom seal is riveted to the bodyit was in the way for the sill to sit correctly on the O/S so had to do a bit of butchery again, only this time was was fairly neat :good::good:
