Farma Geddon
It would be rude not to . Maybe a film to go with it too.
motty
There are many yards left in that load and you have only tried one choke. I got 100 hits at 60 yards with a 675 Terror and 88 with a 5/8th teague , though I had a 140 pellet load ,2oz. I suspect the 425 may pattern better . That load was patterned in the Zabala. When is Jules going to fork out for a load of paper so we can do some testing?

If you had said I could have brought you some cardboard home from work same as I used , they are about 4 x 4 ft even you could hit one

I will have to improve if I am to hit it, though.

widgeon man
I reckon a 1-1/8 oz of HW would be good! Comfortable and doubled up deadly! As I said on our little jaunt up north, think the ten can beat the 12 with HW....... It's just feeding it and testing it! Not fired a shot in anger with mine yet..... Itching for a go! Farma Geddon
Well we will see when you test some patterns I shall try some 32 gram and give you a yard stick. Then I will pattern a real ten and show you how to do it.
6.5x55SE
I reckon a 1-1/8 oz of HW would be good! IMHO that's plenty I'm sure Farma Geddon and Muncher can remember seeing what Hamster did with a 1oz of Hevi Shot from a 20ga on flighting Pinks . fenboy
I cannot afford to test anymore , times are hard , I dropped one pellet on the shed floor and had to spend 20 minutes looking for it . I think you could get away with a lighter load of fours with this stuff

allanm
All 3 of them patterns look good at that range ,I've never used that type of shot ,what would the no2 be like for distance compared to steel in a larger shot size ?
muncher
When is Jules going to fork out for a load of paper so we can do some testing? I got some card today ,playing with the big gal getting closer to workable loads . another tweak to try tomorrow.

It will carry far more energy being heavier than lead , plus you will get more pellets in the load compared to large steel pellets so a denser pattern at range. I would say the energy would probably somewhere in the region of a lead BB. However, being smaller, these pellets penetrate better.

Farma Geddon
Methinks the winks are in big trouble this year! Mostly because you have a big one , I hear?
Smokersmith
It's not the biggest, but should be quite satisfying when I put it in the right place.
