andrew2416
As the title says my cynergy top lever sticks open occasionally when I come to close the gun to make another shot. I have had it to a gun smith but it's still doing it occasionally. I'm going to take it back as its not safe to use but was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what's wrong with it or how to fix it thanks. bruno22rf
Do they not have a long warranty?-otherwise take it to a decent Gunsmith-sounds like a bit of grit in the action-you could try removing the stock and soaking the action in WD40 then using an Air line to blast out any hidden crud. ChrisAsh
May be a broken spring, take it to gunsmith or use guarantee You could also look at the locking slots to make sure they are clean
andrew2416
Thanks for the advice im really confused I have had the stock off and everything looks alright and weirdly it works just fine with the stock off but once you put the stock back on and open it then close it again the top lever sticks. It's starting to wind me up.

wisdom
Could it be catching on the stock, are there any marks on the wood?
andrew2416
Thanks for the help again. The top lever was catching on the stock slightly so I have sanded it down slightly job done all is well in the world again.
wisdom
remember to seal where you have sanded so it doesnt swell in wet surroundings
silver pigeon69
Is your cabinet damp? Maybe the lever was catching because the stock wood had swelled due to it being damp? i had a similar problem and left the stock somewhere warm and dry for a few weeks, which sorted it. Kalahari
Another problem is if you let oil run down into the stock. Don't over oil and store the gun muzzle down. On a padded surface of course. David.
