Banger123
I have been waiting for this flapper since 23 April. Have had a few emails from Nick at flight line decoys but still no flapper. I really want this flapper but and know they are busy but now I feel they are taking the ****. What does anyone else think??
motty
Have you already paid? If so I reckon you should ask for your money back.
fenboy
If you were told it was a long wait then it's up to you to be patient . However if you were not told and are being strung along and promised delivery dates are not being met then I think he is going to end up chucking his business down the pan. Cranfield
Their website says there is a "minimum three week wait" for their FF5. Its your decision whether you wait, or not. I wouldn't.
jam1e
I'm thinking along the lines of "Fenboy". If you were aware of the waiting times when you placed your order and paid, then that's down to you, (albeit you could ask for a refund anyhow) But if not, 5 months is taking the ****! It may be indicative of how long you would have to wait, if it arrived on time and broke during the warranty period. I'd personally ask for a refund and go elsewhere. But each to their own... Good Luck.
Redditch
The problem is, there is only Nick making them, as he doesn't trust others to make sure everything is correct (and when you get one it IS perfect). Each piece is hand bent and fitted, and so it takes a lot of time to make one. Everyone who has one is over the moon with it, but most people have had to wait 4-5 months (I would think yours should be about ready now). That's the price of having hand crafted goods, they are perfect, but waiting times are very long. He has orders waiting from all around the globe, as it took off far quicker than he expected, BUT, he doesn't want to sacrifice quality for the sake of speed of production. madmatt
Well if he is reading this I hope he sorts it out because I would really love one. Just debating whether I want to wait. Maybe he could get some of the parts made at a small engineering firm to speed it up
bud 20
I got mine about 3 weeks ago, waited a long time also, but have to say it is very well made, stick it out another bit
daz2202
Rather than have a refund. I will cover your costs if I can have it when it arrives. It would allow me to jump the queue Let me know
