  17. No work today, finished cutting the grass about 3.30. I wasn't out since last years harvest, so there has been a big want on me for bit of banging. A mate told me a field we shoot about 4 or 5 miles away had tractors ploughs in it, so headed out grabbed 2 boxes shells, decoys ect, when I got there farmer was busy rolling the barley in. I put out dozen deeks, up with the hide, crows started coming nice and steady, finished up with 35 crows, rooks and jacks including 2 greys, never seen any pigeon, home for dinner about 7.15. Had great couple of hours, me and buddy going to give another go on sat morning , as there is nice bit of seed still on ground, weather don't think much good for weekend, keeping fingers crossed. Sorry no pictures I will have to get a bit more high tech.
  18. must say enjoyed that shooting
