njc110381
I've signed it. I only sea fish once or twice a year, and I don't much like the idea of laying out extra cash for the constantly dropping fish numbers which I don't catch when I'm on holiday because there's nothing left to catch
Bazooka Joe
They tried this quite a few years back, didn't come off, how it would be policed is another matter? Maybe if more effort put into stopping the likes of Spain etc fishing our shores would go a long way, then again that's not going to happen. BJ. Cranfield
They are promising in exchange, better boat launching and general facilities improvements round the coast. If they could guarantee to get rid of the unlicensed inshore netsman and fixed net setters, it would be something. I believe it is a licence that is almost unenforceable. Wookie
Signed! I thought the coast belonged to the crown (i.e. the Queen) and that it was free? Just goes to show what the money-grabbing ******* are stooping to to finance their cockups Wookie
chunk
Job done. Tosspots. Is nothing sacred to these people? I sea fish a lot, its one of the last bastions of free enjoyment left in this overtaxed country. TBH this had been discussed before but i thought it had been put to rest as unenforceable. All it will do is provide employment for beuracratic know all jobsworths with no tangible benefits for anglers.

pin
It may well be unenforceable but the vast majority of honest folk would buy one to keep on the right side of the law. Probably exactly why they are thinking of doing it.
