bi pods

I wouldn't have one again on a vermin rifle. Most times, grass is either too long or too much vegetation to ensure an obstruction free shot. For target use, they are useful or on pasture land where grass is grazed short, but otherwise, I find that they're deadweight. A lightweight set of sticks is more useful. (bi, tri or quad sticks).

Just be careful with the less expensive bi-pods, some "are" ok where as some could fold up on you, specially if there's some weight on it. I can recommend the snipersystem, a little cheaper than the harris, if which I have both and none out of the 4 I have (2 of each) have failed me.

The rockmount 1 I have is collecting dust and has been now for over 12 months, ,,,,,,, its about as stable an un-set jelly.
