JDog
First light is not that early nowadays. Normally I am still tucked up next to Lady JDog at that time. This morning I was out with the dogs and saw three things of note. Firstly a roe doe and her twins crossing the road on the edge of the village. These were the first Roe I have seen here in the Wolds. Secondly a skein of Greylags landing in a stubble field where I can shoot. Thirdly a female Sparrow hawk carrying a thrush or a blackbird. As I write I am watching pigeons leaving the roosting woods opposite my house.
pg123
Sounds like a nice start to your day. Consider your self very lucky. I bet 1,000's who live in their concrete jungles wouldn't have noticed.......

figgy
Couldn't possibly be as nice as his old home. It's in a different location that's not the Cotswolds.
