kevinw
If you can send you wood off there's a guy on Fb called David chamberlain who traders as stockworks. I know he not in Yorkshire but he's very good. Just had my beretta done by him
bruno22rf
Why local?-you could get a better price shopping around and its perfectly legal to post a Shotgun minus the barrels.

welshwarrior
Why local?-you could get a better price shopping around and its perfectly legal to post a Shotgun minus the barrels. You can only post the action if the guy has an RFD certificate, if he does you can post the whole gun to him. I'm down South but would be happy to do it for you and you can post me the whole gun. john12
Could anyone give a rough idea of what it costs to have the stock and forend refinished. Thinking of having the beretta done.
bruno22rf
I have posted many action and fore-ends to be refinished at the advice of my FLO-according to him its simply an gun part going for repair/restoration-it is NOT a gun as it cannot possibly be fired? I also know of other people doing the same under the advice of FLO's in different areas
welshwarrior
As long as the receiver has an RFD it's fine!
