Richie10
Hi, Up the Wash tomorrow morning. Heard it's pretty empty, counting on this strong wing to blow the birds off the land. Pinks have all left and the ducks never arrived. Should I stay local where there is no birds either? Thanks

Richie10
Very true. Time is like a river, you will never touch the same piece of water twice as it passes. So I guess I will go.

fenboy
Its a long way for a blank , it has been very poor this last three weeks or so and I have had six blanks on the bounce . If it were me I would be blanking closer to home !

hifly
plenty of duck about this morning and several small groups of pinks and some of them decided to play the game, and if the wind had helped us we would of all had a bag limit, so yes there are plenty of birds about if you put in the effort. kennett
And if some idiot can correctly Id them. But had a shot a 4 different duck species this morning, and a lot about, having an expert guide helps!

timmyra608
Cheers tinkertaylor. Luckily the rain stayed away but sadly the ducks didn't wanna play ball this morning, only saw a handful of teal and sadly my shooting was rather poor, on the plus side as I was about to leave the marsh I managed to get a pink. There must have been a good few thousand down there today but only a few came into shooting range. All in all was still a nice morning on the marsh. Am hoping for more luck next weekend. Let's hope I have more luck roost shooting later.
