thebosun
I have 3 rimfires all with different scopes on but all are not that brilliant. They seem to go off for no reason (no its not the user) as i have bench tested before shooting and on my return. I want to purchase a good reliable scope so expect to have to pay a bit more. Only shooting to to 50/60mtrs Any ideas would be handy.

If all yours are causing issues, then it could well be the scopes, but check everything, mounts in particular, but rimfires are not normally hard on optics. Any of the brands/models mentioned are generally fine on rimfires, there is no need to spend a fortune on a rimfire scope for most people, but if you have the money then why not. Dougy
There's an IOR for sale for 275 8x56 very very good indeed. I was tempted but nothing to put it on.

I am using a 4-16x50 Hawke and its brilliant. I also use a 4-9x40 Hawke eclispe and a Nikon Stirling rangemaster or something, not one of them has ever shifted zero
