Underdog
In by 6:30am finish at 5pm, rushed home and lit the fires, grabbed ole' bendy and some reloads. Jess worked rabbits while I kept an eye out for other vermin. A crow storming for its roost was spied on the horizon and I waited behind an ivy clad hawthorn. As it appeared I waited for its reaction then swung ole' bendy through and smoked it. 35yards ish. On the way back we disturbed some roosting pigeons and one swung back and I made a good forty yard shot. A good quick walk and jess was satisfied too, she had a wash and then feed and now is curled up by a stove U. Underdog
Would you have missed with a gun with a straight barrel? No no matey, it was just easier to tweak the barrel than adjust the stock see. Lots of muzzleloading smoothbore shooters do the same and I have too.
