rimfire4969
That is stunning, I have a Stuart Mitchell knife but not as nice as this one. I hope someone buys it quick before I start getting ideas.
clayshooterjim
It certainly is. I love it but it's just a little small for me. I'm only selling it to buy a Secare from Stuart! His work is quality!

clayshooterjim
No I think when it's a quality item it will last you a life-time. The next one I'm ordering from him is £200 more! You can just see and feel the quality of this knife. Its hair-shaving sharp too.

CaptainBeaky
Worth every penny! Buy it,take it out and use it every day - it's a knife for generations.
Salop Matt
Great looking knife but as others said the year of losing it or damaging it combines with my inability to propperly sharpen means I simply could not give a knife like this a home ! clayshooterjim
I understand-it is an investment. I'm sure whoever takes it will be very pleased. If not I may even end up keeping it!

rimfire4969
Sorry can I ask why are these that good. This is handmade by a fantastic knife maker Stuart Mitchell, he will spend hours and hours making it all by hand using the best materials possible. It's like the difference between a Ford Fiesta and a Aston Martin DB9, both will do the same job but one has been massed produced the other made by hand over many hours. The same could be said about guns a Baikel SxS and a Holland and Holland. It's the bespoke luxury end of the market.

malkiserow
I am not familiar with these knives but you often find the benefits of high quality knives are only truely appreciated when they are in your hands. Good luck with the sale of this beautiful knife
Kalahari
Am I the only one who is a tiny bit uneasy about this thread. Presumably this knife was sent out for testing and then is being sold. If you test something it is still the property of the maker? The people who test a new car don't get to keep it. David.
clayshooterjim
Yes I think you are. I don't know what you are on about but I bought this knife direct from Stuart Mitchell via the British Blades forum. Previous to selling it to me he gave it to Byron Pace from Sporting Rifle Magazine to write an article about it. It's only been photographed-not used. I only put that info in the advert as a point of interest. I own this knife and now am selling it. I don't know what you find 'uneasy' about that. Kalahari
I apologise for the misunderstanding. That didn't seem clear to me. David.
