Fuji Shooter
I am fascinated by windmills and if I ever won the lottery I would buy myself one. Something magical about them. Took these on Sunday it was nice to see it in full sail.

figgy
Only a small one,if I owned one I'd want a big one with attached living dwelling. Love the noise mechanical wood makes.

Fuji Shooter
great pictures what a fantastic home powered by nature, we should all have one I think so, instead of putting up wind farms they should build modern estates made from windmills. marsh man
Brilliant photo , just something about them when they are in Black and White , it seems to take you back to a bygone era. I am surrounded by windmills and there is a place on the marsh where on a clear day you can see nigh on 20. FUJIFILM ,,,,, If your down my way in Norfolk feel free to get in touch and I will show you around some of the better ones .

BrowningB525
I think so, instead of putting up wind farms they should build modern estates made from windmills. I love modern wind turbines. I just see them as the evolution of windmills to modern machines.

oowee
We were looking at small communities powered by wind generators (district size windmills) backed up by electric car batteries. The idea was that the price of electric cars would be significantly reduced if there was a reuse for the batteries. Put these into a house as its built and use it as a reserve power supply to back up the wind turbine. People would want the turbine as its directly linked to the power they use and would be seen as a direct benefit. Unfortunately they did not look like the ones in your pictures.
