mossberg-operator
So, took little one (7) for first proper go on clays today. It seems that she is left eye dominant, right handed. How to proceed? What is best for her? Any advice, gentlemen? Thank You.
Glenlivet
I don't know if eye dominance changes with age but at 7 she could easily learn to shoot left handed.
Kalahari
Learn to shoot left handed. Very easy at most ages. Some peoples eye dominance changes as time goes by anyway so she could swap back if required. David.

stuartyboy
I'm right handed with a strong left master eye. I've tried most things; specially made crossover stocks (expensive and hard to sell on) to shooting left handed (found it unnatural and hard to shoot accurately). What I find best now is to wear shooting glasses with a small piece of black tape on the left lense. Doesn't impede my vision but obscures my left eye just enough for the right eye to become dominant and take over if that makes sense. figgy
Try a easy hit tube, great bit of kit that only the eye aligned with the barrel and stock can see it.

bakerboy
Get your daughter to a coach who can diagnose/confirm eye dominance, and build a gun to suit her. Where are you based?
