Whitebridges
I had a 425 grade 6 without tear drops or a silver oval. No telling with Browning.
B25Modelman
On the B25 grades the brochures showed a typical stock, plain point, tear or rounded. When ordering you could select whatever you want. If buying a stock gun you got or get what it has. My catalogues don't go back far enough to show the 325 and the 425's only show grade 1. There is a statement of a 425 prestige with teardrops. 525 and 725 show grade 5 and 6 with teardrops. Googling there are many with and many without. Remove the stock and look for compatibility numbers to the action frame and forend. I know they do this on the B25's. chesterse
I had one from new, years ago, it definitely had the teardrop on it. It was a beautiful looking gun but don't know if it was because it was a 32" in but never liked the way it handled and eventually sold it. Woodbepigeonshooter
I have a 525 grade 6 without teardrops. It also has the invector chokes ( short ones) which I only though they did investor plus on the 525 but not so. As stated all in the order
