robbiep
Just been out for a couple of hours on the bunnies (had 5). Also had the pleasure of seeing 3 young polecats (kits?) running and playing along a hedgerow for 20 minutes, watching through the NV. Some days, you realise just how blessed you are in life
Zetter
Its not just me then? I Saw two last week while out bunny bothering with the NV they were play fighting all the way along a hedge line. What I found odd was the bunnies didnt seem to be playing the slightest bit of attention they just carried on eating, I guess they knew that the wild ferrets (or Polecats couldn't tell through the NV which they were as it was about 100 yards out) were having fun and not hunting? hushpower
I saw an albino jill with a dozen or so polecat kits moving as one about six weeks back moving from open country onto a housing estate at night.

39TDS
Caught one in a squirrel trap outside my house yesterday morning, 5 miles or more away from the last one I caught. Let it go and then caught it again the next morning. A bit strange as there is no bait in the trap to attract it but there have been two rats in there this week. It stunk and appeared to be covered in quite big ticks. I was out spraying a week back at night and there was one running up the path in the field in and out of rabbit burrows. Scully
Passed two dead in the road alderly edge last week end on the way back from pigeon shooting Shame; they are magnificent creatures. I have a soft spot for mustelids and would be terrible as a 'keeper.
