leon
Last night about 19:30 I got a phone call from a farmer who has lost half his hen's over the last two nights, so I am working all weekend so I thought I better go out and have a look for the offending charlie. Anyway we accounted for three at 80yds, 175yds & a lasered 245yds. the guns a CZ523 varmint with trigger kit custom stock thats glass bedded and topped with 8X56 S&B and the mods a T8 mag, ammo is Honady a-max 50 grain with 24.5 grs Hogdons H322 and BR remmy primer. leon
Some full looking bellys on them. GH Unfortunately one was full but this farm provides us with a lot for the terriers through the winter so I hate shooting them now but it has to be done. leon
Oh well the problem started again last night so out we went again and found a real lampshy foxy, it was a really long shot but been doing lots of ammo testing lately and felt confident the weather was right with no wind to contend with and I was rested lovely on the wing of the landy so I went for a nut shot and connected perfectly if the photo is a bit graphic then let me know and I will take it down.
