Cracker1980
Hi all, Just started shooting and only got my license in December along with a beretta a303 that I bought off of a mate. Been out as much as I can for pigeons and a bit if flighting for woodcock. Looking forward to some clay shooting when the season ends and also getting involved on the forum. Cheers Cracker

reoturbo
Hello and welcome - I was fortunate enough to live and work on Herm for three years! Would still be there if I had not needed to come back to UK mainland to look after elderly parents.Lucky you - shooting and sea fishing out of this World! Only drawbacks that wildfowling, rim fires and any Sunday shooting not permitted if I remember correctly, unless this has changed? Anyway, once again, welcome

reoturbo
Been there too, what a place!! What were you doing there? I was estate manager, looking after the island infrastructure, cattle, running the portering team etc.Wonderful lifestyle but incredibly hard work and long hours, especially in peak tourist season.Place was alive with rabbits, pigeon, pheasant and partridge - no ground predators but gulls and ravens a nuisance!
