Shotgun57 Posted January 30, 2017 Report Share Posted January 30, 2017 was asked to shoot the rape today ,arrived at 11am lots of pigeons on the feed and twice as many in the trees,pushed them off guessed about 150, set up with the magnet with 2 freash birds and a dozen shell decoys. they started to return and decoyed in to the pattern ,bye 1 pm they stopped coming ,stayed until 3.45 and only had a few single birds about 7 so packed up ended with 32 pigeon for 47 shots went home happy . ditchman Posted February 1, 2017 Report Share Posted February 1, 2017 i go onto my rape and as i drive down the field ..about 200 odd birds will lift from an area ....and dissapear...never to come back that day....so no point in setting up...just tooo much food around for them....
