naddan28
he didn't bloody shoot it and not for practical reasons (ie backstop etc), just decided that he didn't want to! YOu thought he would have been prepared to shoot it really if he had done all the stalking! Very good, pre shoot though lots of safety talk, range work and the importance of holding of shots for the "right" one. Dan
BSA Shaun
Nothing wrong with showing humanity. There will always be another shot Didn't enjoy the "bitty" tho, that is sooooo wrong, that guy is sick

Dunkield
I reckon Graham M rang him on his mobile just before and told him what the BASC charge for each deer shot
Wookie
you see, this is what I hate about not having a working telly... I miss all the good stuff. Still, it turns up tomorrow, so maybe I'll catch a repeat or something
henry d
Did anyone think he was holding the rifle oddly up in the highseat ??
Dunkield
Yes, out of his shoulder, I don't think he ever intended to take that shot. He had better stick to shouting and swearing at housewives (I do find him entertaining though)
Yonic
I was really surprised that he didn't take the shot, He's so for showing you where food comes from and has previously shown geese and Pig's being slaughtered, may be it was because this time it was going to be him doing the killing? Cheers Jon
Dunkield
I just looked on youtube to see if the clip was up there yet and found a clip of him walking into his restraunt with a dead roebuck over his shoulder. Shock tactics and all that. So as you say he is all for showing the link from the field to the table, but not able to kill something to start the process off. I think the BASC missed a trick here and (if they had the time of course) should have got him steadied down to take one out, and then put THAT out on the telly. My point was they should have given him some more time and then had another go, and then used THAT clip in the program. But I am sure the answer will be, they only a day or 2 to get the footage and then packed up. And TBH a shot at a munty that only stopped for split second probably wasn't the best one to go for on your first stalking session.
Oly
Better for it to be shot by a better man another day! Jumped up, egotistical Muppet, can't stand him most of the time!
Yonic
I realise that there would of been quite a bit of editing but there seamed to be a lot of munty's about ? You see quite a few down here but not in the numbers they showed?
Dunkield
can't stand him most of the time! I bet he'll be gutted to hear that Jon, It was edited down quite a bit, I didn't spot it but apparently his cammo changed halfway through. You can shoot that wood through the BASC but it is bloody expensive.

pob
His cammo did change midway through the piece; Realtree at the start then some kind of DPM outfit from Millets of St Albans, when he was supposedly kicking himself for bottling it right at the end . I agree he was holding the rifle badly. He was resting the rifle wood directly on the high seat also, which I have always been told is bad practice. I reckon it might have been worked out beforehand. Couldn't it have been bad PR for him to have taken the shot? No one is in any doubt now that he strongly supports stalking of wild deer for the table, but no one can directly accuse him of actually killing Bambi.
