FOXHUNTER1
Decided to go out the other night with the .22 for a change , as after checking the forecast it was due to be a bit breezy. I was only hoping for a few shots at rabbits but ended up having a decent session , only lamping half the farm. The shooting was very challenging due to the fact that my Ruger .22 with synthetic stock is so light , I was getting blown over all over in the stiff wind. I had to really concentrate on my shots and didn't do too bad considering , missing only 2 bunnies. Plenty rats around the farmyard but unsafe due to sheep and cattle indoors plus tractors all over , but did manage a few in the fields. An enjoyable night but I'm getting a bit old for humping a full game bag about muddy fields
Hendrix's rifle
Nice hares, taste lovely! If I'm honest, I leave hares alone purely because there arnt many around here, can't blame you for shooting them if there doing damage though or just to keep the lads with dogs away! Good shooting

WelshMike
Well done Mark. What a surprise though...all of them dead on a road.....rifle shot or run over.... You are right about being too old. I would think that slippers and the fire are all you are up to at your stage in life ...though to be fair thats where i will be tonight ..having a nap in front of the fire
