I think you need to have a chat to your parents.

 

Ask them about the birds and the bee's ;-) and try not to be too embarrassed.

 

 

Should have fried them, 1 minute in a hot frying pan

I did wonder about that.. feel a bit guilty now. I discarded the carcass as the rabbit looked in poor condition too and I was concerned what it was.

We all have to learn mate , at least youre checking them before putting them into the food chain.

Thanks, I got a response about a stork... is that why they aren't general licence?

We all have to learn mate , at least youre checking them before putting them into the food chain.

i should have also added , if the rabbit is just full of young , then its still fine to eat . i meant that its good that your checking incase of other nasties.

Thanks, I understand, inhibits appetite though... I always check shot game for obvious signs of defect. Many years ago I had true food poisoning (not from game or indeed my own cooking) and I don't want that again (although weight loss would be welcome)
