ElvisThePelvis
My FAC shows and allowance of 750 expanding and 750 non expanding rounds as my designated held limit. As i understand it there are no non expanding rounds available for HMR (i can only assume they would be used for long range body piercing), how does this work in practice, is it a typo/spurious entry (one of many) or can i in reality hold 1,500 rounds (i assume not - but would take the opportunity to buy more hornady now i have found a source)
Guest stevo
I think your find it will be as it's written. So that means you can hold your 750 exp and that will be it unless they start to make solids. Until that day in your case holding more than 750 you will most certainly be in breach of your conditions. So for you it's 750 exp 750 solid end of The thing to remember is when it comes to your fac / sgc it is what it is. If you want to change something you need them to sort it. ElvisThePelvis
Thanks, that makes sense, although the local authority is excellent at typos and confusing terms so i just thought i should double check in advance of tomorrows game fair! Cheers!

ElvisThePelvis
CCI make an FMJ in .17HMR Thanks, I hadn't realised that, what purpose are these for over v max for example?
Rst1990
Thanks, I hadn't realised that, what purpose are these for over v max for example? They don't expand, mate uses them down his club, expensive though. At least you know you can have 750 of these and 750 v max. Cci advertise them as less meat damage. I could tell a story about these, that no one would believe, even though I have witnesses.

defender
Thanks, I hadn't realised that, what purpose are these for over v max for example? My thoughts are you could still have a 17hmr without expanding ammo on your licence for just target shooting
fortune
(i can only assume they would be used for long range body piercing) Using a 17 hmr for putting some ear rings in is bit excessive. I did see a fox once that had a hole in one of its ears. I could tell a story about these, that no one would believe, even though I have witnesses. Is this story about body piercing also?
