ips
I used to have one but seem to think they were just orrible one stage jobs. I have read that there two stage but I cant see how and certainly cant feel it, mine must be 8lb pull easy with absolutely no first stage or even play. Its virtually un shootable after the pcp and decent Beretta trigs.
SurreySquireler
I hate my lightning, and I make no bones about it; it has been pretty much relegated to dispatching birds in the larson traps the trigger is awful, its also very twangy and the scope never seemed to hold zero Mine always grouped awfully
ips
Yes agree they are twangier than a twangier thing.
Ultrastu
Ive currently go 2 .both .177 Ive had 2 others a 177 and a .22 All older style .not the se versions. ips
Mine is the original from about 2000. I don't remember the trigger being as cack as it is now. No way is it a two stage ??
SurreySquireler
Yeah mine is the newer version, which I have heard is pretty rubbish from everyone to be honest The trigger is worse than on an old webley spring pistol- and that's saying something In my view the old nice thing about it is the looks- which I agree do look good
ips
Agree they look good especially the early ones like mine imo
Ultrastu
They arent true 2 stage but the older ones (as i have ) certainly feel and act as if they are . The newer gammo triggers on the se models are pap .

Dave13
I have a 12 month old GRT in 177. It's never been altered from new and shoots perfect, no issues with it at all and the trigger is smooth and consistent.
Chaz25
Same trigger group as my .25 supersport, its sort of light then a bit more firm then brakes so yeh not great! but not heavy so I just work round it but I have a spare group and will have a look at it, would any one like me to do a mod thread?
