Oak veneer is 1mm thick and sticks onto the sides to look like solid oak. If your local to Tamworth ever just call in. kingo15 Posted June 4, 2017 Report Share Posted June 4, 2017 Nice work there sir. When we moved into this house we are in now it needed a complete refurb. With the stairs cause the oak had been painted with green gloss so had the metal iron work. So I striped all the wood back and for the metal work stripped and coated black.
