My mate used to buy and sell number plates and the value is only ever what somebody is prepared to pay you for it. The only truely valuable ones are the very early plates like D14

I just missed a number plate that was for sale by DVLA that went for £750. A week later is was on a site for £7000!!

Wow, the sale of reg plates as raised over £2 billion for the Treasury, wonder what they did with the money?

Probably went to some other country to help them, rather than put into a failing and unrepairable NHS!

I have a few cherished numbers that i will never assign and i am looking for a knowledgable valuer that wont try to buy for a low price.

Try this website and enter the reg number, it might give you some idea of what they might be worth...https://www.platehunter.com/search-number-plates

As a matter of interest would you care to tell us what reg numbers you are thinking of selling?

Just done a search for my name DAVID and found DAV7D and its only £160,495.00.

So what's the one in your picture worth as its the correct spelling?

Mind you the mk1 Cortina would be worth a bit.
