steve_b_wales
I want to set up my own website to display the many 1000's of photographs I've taken over the years. Can anyone recommend one that's easy to set up and use, and, free?

Curly87
I use one.com to buy and host all of my websites, easy to purchase domain names through them and they normally have a good deal for the first year. Then it's normally around £20 a year. Never had a problem with them. They also have lots of templates that you can use and the help via webchat is really useful. Mentalmac
I've used 1and1.co.uk many times for domains and websites and they're good value.
old'un
Have a look at these webhosting sites. Wix..http://www.wix.com/professionalwebsite/hiker-uk?experiment_id=cake_28182461%5E62&utm_campaign=af_top10bestwebsitehosting.com&utm_medium=paid_referral&utm_source=affiliate Sitebuilder..https://www.sitebuilder.com/ 1&1..https://www.1and1.co.uk/mywebsite-business-tariffs?ac=OM.UK.UK639K04105T3299a&ref=669708-uGdDEZvip6 I guess you already know that photos in high quality will be large files, make sure you get a hosting package that will meet your needs on bandwidth and storage, having said that most webhosting will allow you to upgrade your package if you find you need more bandwidth or storage. Mike737
Steve, A friend of mine, now sadly died, used http://www.clikpic.com He was an enthusiastic amateur photographer, and had thousands of photos on his pages. He had various albums, and blogs of where he had been visiting each month. Easy to navigate, but I've no idea of the set-up costs sorry. Mike.
