Si-Bore
I can get them for £3.46/box via a contact. I will try em out next week when I get them. Cheers Si
EvoCars
I use them sometimes , seem good, but cant really use them in my escort as they are a touch to short, people i know use them, they all seem to rate them for pigeons
steve_k
i think i pay less than that for them at the local dealer. but they are very good and i use them for everything even brought down plenty of foxes with them hard hitting round, and my semi cycles them fine! Floating Chamber
The first 'Pigeon Special' test cartridges were loaded in my kitchen in the early '90s. In those days the propellant was Neodisc 3. I still have the test reports and proud of my work! After using several other types of powder, Vectan A1 was settled upon after the company became the sole distributers. 'Thought I'd let you know! 30-6
One of the best "pigeon cartridges" I,ve used in the past, can't seem to get them local any more. Very hard hitting. I can remember them in a green case and in a pinky case.

Suffolk shooter
Try Eley HB Pigeon. I have recently converted to them and they hit hard and are reasonably cheap and in Fibre. I use 32gram 6's. SS

bobby t
can there really be that much difference between cartridges i mean hull eley express and gamebore are tehir pigeon loads going to throw such diffrences in patterns? surely exprees pigeon special and clear pigeon must be nearly identicle in terms of pattern? leeboy
I've shot 500 or so and found them to be ok but I defo prefer clear pigeon.
Floating Chamber
Any 30gram No. 6 Cartridge 'packed' in this country will have continental ingredients and will do the job. Gone are the days when EVERY part of an ELEY 'GRAND PRIX' cartridge was British and BLOODY good!
top shot
i think they are a very hihgh quality cartridge wen i use it with all my guns other than the daiwa semi auto as its too short i jus got some hull cartridges and they didnt perform to my expectations
malkiserow
I think they are great .... tried others but have come back to them Prefer plastic over fibre for price and shooting but now trying to like fibre as I use them in the field only. I but them by the 1000 but would like to find a cheaper supplier nearby...
starlight32
I seem to think these cartridges are pushing the 180.00 mark around here. An earlier thread 3.46 a box- Is that correct?
