This guy is trying to 'sell' a method to improve business........ he does not know what he is saying! Yes in an ideal worldboth eyes obviously!.... but if people don't have a master eye, eye issues you have to do something about it. Trouble is most people don't understand how a gun should be set up etc..... there are ways to improve the situation. 50% of cases are poor stock fit/low comb, causing the 'off' eye to work harder and hindering the 'master' eye. Too many 'know it alls at the local gun club which actually know naff all......

As with all experts there are the good ( very few) the bad and the ugly ( too many)

If the gun does not fit you perfectly or near as damn it then you are on a loser from the start. Go on, turn round suddenly now and point your extend arm and forefinger at something on the far wall without pause. Do you 'aim' your finger? No, you line it instinctively with your eyes and brain. If your gun fits you correctly so it is in line with this eye/brain decision when you mount the gun it will automatically be in line with where you need to put the shot pattern, without having to crunch down and 'aim' along the barrel.

OK, we cannot all afford to take our guns to be fitted professionally but we can go into a well stocked gun shop and find a gun that fits. My little Yilditz 410 O/U is case in point. I picked it up in the shop and immediately got my plastic card out. Like it grew on me. I don't know it is there when a bird flies past, I just look at the bird and do the same I do when I throw a piece of rolled paper in the bin and my brain and eyes do the rest. OK turn and throw a piece of rolled up paper into a waste basket .. you don't 'aim' do you, again your eyes and brain do it for you ...you don't close one eye to do it.... do you?

NOW, fair to say some have a better eye / brain link up than others and that is why the Eric Bristow's of this world float to the top, but you can bet even he is real picky about the design and weight of his darts.
