rimfire4969
Have a Google for Trap Man. His traps seem very good.
Walker570
Mole Valley Farmers. They do a full range of vermin traps, baits etc., and good quality. Not the cheapest, but there again you get what you pay for. I have nine live catch squirrel cages, some of which came from Mole, the others are the same make and they are as good today as they where seven, eight years ago. JRDS
Always found Fenn Traps far superior to cages traps, they ain't daft.
jay404
Another vote for the fen trap make sure it's got a cage around it (to prevent non target species to enter) and the trap is staked down . Also helps if it's covered to make it dark like a rat run
lancer425
Fen traps all the way my choice cage traps probably work but we never caught any rats in ours , cage we had was a Longwith about 20 years ago.
Vince Green
+1 for Fenn traps, make sure you get the real thing though, there are copies about, should say fenn on them
Walker570
As above and a bit of peanut butter on the treadle usually does the job. Not difficult to make up a tunnel from some planks of wood, make it long enough some someone's cuddly pussy cat cannot reach inside ...don't ask me how I know this ..... and big enough to allow the trap to operate. Put a couple of bricks on top to stop anything else tipping it over. If you want to be really posh then hinge the lid so you can check more easily.
